Scenic Route

Today we traveled thru Burlington, VT the largest city in VT and Vergennes then crossing Champlain Bridge into New York State. We drive North on 22 into the Adirondaks. So large a geographical area one needs a week just to think about covering half of that area of New York.

During our drive we've seen beautiful rolling hills with several dairy farms, several shops selling local farm products, and gorgeous view looking at the Adirondak Mts.

The pic is a memorial for Champlain on a site of a former lighthouse. We climbed to the top and was somewhat dizzy from the circular stairs.
